A grasshopper's view of winter.

Some snow covered grass in a planter helped me make this grasshopper's view. The shallow depth of field of the lens also helped isolate the subject from the background. I wast drawn to the colors of the grass on this gray day.

They say there's more snow in the forecast for us tomorrow.

Love your title, it really brings a grasshopper's view to mind when looking at your picture!

Don't hate me, but we're having temps in the high 70s right now. I actually would love to experience some snow though.

Wonderful image and perspective.
I like the muted colors.

I needed a visual diversion and this picture fit the bill. I have often wondered what do the little things of the world see. Now I know..

(Mom is the same. I am ever hopeful and believe in miracles. )

A bit too cold for grasshopper though. ;)

perhaps the grasshopper can come inside with you and play you a tune.
