Foster Avenue, Sayville

 
This photo is from the same place as yesterday's post. It's some kind of jetty or something. I used Photomatix Pro to process this HDR photo.


The water was so calm and the sky so peaceful yesterday. Part of it is because it's just a bay, there's never very big waves.

We have a bay here (Tampa Bay) and I have a new digital camera. This shot has inspired me to perhaps se what my lens can capture..

Looks like a fishing spot to me.

But then again, so do most shots of water....

I remember seeing a few of these last summer when we went to Long Island for the first time. They sure look pretty in pictures.

This is such a delightful surprise to see right now....sadly we are experiencing another blizzard, airport shut down this morning and my driveway is covered again and waiting to be powered by snowplow in the morning.....what a perfect place to be......where this photo is .....!
