The Thicket

Greenbrier Thorns
We had nice day today, so I raked the backyard. It was nice to see green under the leaves. Hyacinth and tulips are both up.
 The Sedum plants have all
broken ground with green buds.
The Pussy Willow is covered with buds.
After the yard work, I went back to the little lake in the pine barrens, but the light was not right.
Maybe next time?
21) I am thankful for small things in nature.

Saw some daffodils peeking through the ground today, a sight usually seen in May.

I like the blurry, gray background. It contrasts nicely with the sharp thorns.

I need to do some yard work, too. (Those thorns look a bit harmful!) I saw the tulip buds yesterday here! Early spring.

I don't know what the background is, but it sure makes a neat effect.

i like to see spring and winter dancing.
it's kind of like old and new thorns together in your photo.

It looks like a lovely, foggy day. We seem to have bypassed spring and gone straight into summer. So unusual and yet, I'm not complaining. Grateful, even. Lovely shot.
