Oak Sapling

It stayed gray and foggy for most of today. I wanted to get a nice fog photo, but it just didn't happen.
The air is getting warmer and I see signs of spring all over. On my walks through the woods the bramble buds are starting to open into leaves. The Forsythia are almost all yellow, daffodils are opening in the spring sun and the lettuce seeds I planted have broke round.
Today's photo is of buds on an Oak sapling.

The beginning of spring is so exciting! I think you captured the foggy "mood" with this photo. Nice. :)

I've taken a look around a few of my gardens, winter may have taken quite a toll on a few of them. The one my children re-designed slightly (as best they could) is really in a shambles...funny thing your post touches on a post I was debating posting....except yours is much more stunning and hopeful...even without the fog this is to me, inspiring....

Spring is here! Isn't is great? What a great time of discovery.
