Coopers Beach sandblasting

Irene has past and we only lost cable TV, internet and land-line telephone service. All I missed was internet. Sunday afternoon most people were trying to get things back to normal here in Southampton. Down at Coopers Beach others were trying to look at the ocean waves. I had my running shorts on and the sand was hurting my legs and arms. Most people came and went. This young woman gave it her best.

We went out to the Jersey shore and the waves were pretty strong. No one allowed to sim yet.

you made out better than we did. we had no power for 51 hours and lots of folks we know are still without. those shots sure do tell a story though.

thanks for stopping by my place too :)
