Happy Easter

You can see them, but this tree was full of birds.
It was singing the joys of the resurrection.

Oak Sapling

It stayed gray and foggy for most of today. I wanted to get a nice fog photo, but it just didn't happen.
The air is getting warmer and I see signs of spring all over. On my walks through the woods the bramble buds are starting to open into leaves. The Forsythia are almost all yellow, daffodils are opening in the spring sun and the lettuce seeds I planted have broke round.
Today's photo is of buds on an Oak sapling.

Cactus on the windowsill

Today felt like the first day of spring. It was warm and the sun was shinning. It was a perfect day for the little league parade I covered earlier.
I love this little cactus my wife brought back from here cousin’s home in California. It's been living here on the east coast for about fourteen months, and it's grown a bunch. It reminds me of flames.

For the record...

...I'm still around. I had a week with no internet service due to a faulty modem, fixed. And not feeling very good, not fixed but working on it.
I've been a bit under the weather, maybe because of all the gray, wet weather here and maybe because business is very slow. I am grateful to be working at all, it just depressing to be in this situation after thirty years in the business. Being fifty-three and thinking about a career change is not fun, and I'm just not feeling all that good about myself.
I made this photo at the legislature. It's the basket and tape recorder the stenographer uses to put prepared speeches from people speaking in front of the legislature. Both tools help her when her notes need to be transcribed.
