Sophia Garden

I visited a CSA ( community supported agriculture) farm today with a government summer intern program. What an awesome place. My favorite kind of job, one where I can learn something and get paid. They gave me garlic scapes a radish and a whole bunch of information.
I made this photo there, but I didn't get its name. I'll ask when I drop off a copy of what I made.

What a Bunch!

I'm a big fan of bananas. It's not my favorite fruit, but it's up there. I also love photographing them. When I was just starting out, I used bananas in my first advertising campaign. I sent out black and white postcards of banana's to firms as a way of introducing myself. One was for when you need the Top Banana photographed, another was for the whole bunch of bananas, I even photographed just the peel with a don't slip up, call a pro message. I go some good feedback from it, but I don't think I actually had anyone call with work because of the postcards.

Happy Father's Day

It's nice to have a day to do whatever you want especially since the past few days have been busy. Friday evening I photographed a wedding which was exhausting, but as I process the images, it was worth it.

So hope everyone has a happy father's day. Today's photo is in honor of all father's. I especially thank God The Father who has, as always, been looking after me during the past hard times.

Great Peconic Bay

On a walk last week, I came across this fisherman at the inlet to Cold Spring Pond. What a sunset letting us know about the up coming rain! I don't know if he caught anything, but I got a keeper.

Prints of this photo are available on my Etsy Shop site.

Orchid

Cel was given this Orchid by one of her co-workers. We've had them in the house before but, we can never get them to bloom. Last summer, she was given one and we started to notice ants all over the kitchen. We finally realized they were coming from the bottom of the orchid's flower pot.
So I photographed this beauty before it wilts or something else happens with it.

Dancing in the wind

Sorry for the long absence. I haven't felt too creative. I just get depressed about business being so slow and can't focus on creativity. The blog is a personal thing, and I've needed to focus on things that help my family. My wife and I opened a Etsy shop. It was her doing mostly. There's a link on the side.

I saw these daisies on the side of the road and they were dancing as the cars drove by.
