Meadow Croft

This carriage house is on one of the major Long Island homesteads of the famous Roosevelt family. It is located in Sayville, one of my favorite towns on Long Island.
My aunt, uncle and two cousins lived in Sayville, and as a child, my family didn't live far. Sayville holds some nice memories. This is the same place the rocking chairs and spring foliage photo was made and it is also HDR.

It looks like a quiet, welcoming place.

I would love to live in a cottage like this. Love, love, Steve. :)

What an amazing piece of history. Do the Roosevelts still own it?
