Fall Ferns

Well, we had some sunshine yesterday after a cold and wet weekend.
I spent a few minutes looking for color along the Peconic River and found some beautiful back-lit ferns.
Autumn is when leaves get to play the part of flowers.
Sunday, my foster brother and his new girlfriend came out to visit. We haven't seen each other in fourteen years.
Way too long a time not to see family.
It was a great visit.

I was relieved that the snow is melting so soon! I was worried that our Autumn got cut too short. Love the fern. Did you get much snow out there?

"Autumn is when leaves get to play the part of flowers." What a lovely thought, and an equally lovely photo to accompany it!
