Pylon reflection

Two days of cold rain have kept me from going out. I made this photo at the Ponquogue Bridge in Hampton Bays. The color of the pylons, the water and the reflection were perfect one morning last week.

This is my favorite type of photo. I love when the water reflects like that! There's an m.c. escher print called "Rippled Surface" that shows just this kind of water. I wish I could predict what conditions cause this to happen. In this photo also I love that little bit of orange.

Lovely lovely lovely! Anytime I am fortunate enough to be near water like that I can't stop taking photos. Did I mention how lovely this photo is?

hey, did you ever receive my letter in the mail? just curious.

we got a whopper of a rain and wind last night. the morning, however, was lovely and calm. then back to off and on rain the rest of the day.

casey's oral surgery went well, they said, and it does seems so. she is taking penicillin, a pain reliever, and she also had something for nausea. she had to get past some of the nausea before she would take the pill though. she hates to take pills...same as my other daughter. she has been on the couch all afternoon with gauze in her mouth...but, is at this time having yoghurt and watching tv.
