I saw these drapes and the tie back and thought of the Harry Potter movies.Maybe it's all the movies we watched last weekend. The light, tone and color just screamed for me to make a photograph.

I used the Canon 5d mkII for the clicking part. I processed it in Photomatix Tone Mapping Program, but was unhappy with it. I reprocessed the original RAW file using ARC and Photoshop and like it much better now. I should have saved the first so I could have posted both, it just looked too artificial.

I can't imagine what your Elementary teachers/students are going to deal with. Our tornado hit in June, so we had a couple of months to pull it together. I think of the supplies, teacher files,-- it is just hard to imagine. My thoughts are with your whole community! (PS. Did your boys go there?)
