lights in the trees

I like moving the camera during the exposure. These holiday lights decorate a parking lot at a catering hall I was at a few nights ago. I made a couple of straight exposures and then I made this one. I processed it with Photomatix Tone Mapping program. The added contrast help make the blurred orange lights look like scratches...or I've been looking at this too long and it looks nothing like scratches.
I used the Canon G10.

You know what's cool about that photo? It almost reminds me of a ferris wheel. I know that sounds weird but there's something about the motion and blur of lights. That's what I see anyway. :) I like it!

I like this shot. My camera doesn't want to play when I try blurriness. Must try a different setting.
