Connetquot River

Today's photo was made this morning on a walk through the Connetquot River State Park. I'd never been in the north part of the park, the head waters.

It was in the eighties today and some of the leaves are starting to change, especially the poison ivy.

I wish the photo was sharper, I can't be sure if was the moving water or me.

Made with the Canon 5d and processed with ACR.

I can almost feel the coolness of the water. You're lucky, changing leaves and cooler temps are still far away for us!
