More snow

It snowed all day today with little accumulation, maybe an inch or two. It felt good to get out and walk around in it. There was no wind and it must have been just cold enough for snow, it was comfortable to stay outdoors for a while. I walked through the woods and everything was white and still.
These three photos were made in Hampton Bays, by the railroad tracks. They were made with the Canon 5d MKII and processed with ACR.

Wonderful... I love when the snow is on the branches. I think our 40mph winds took care of that!

(By the way...sometimes our posts are so similar it is scary! I'm going with the 'great minds think alike' theory!)

That nasty white stuff can be so deceptively beautiful. Of course I only feel it's nasty when it needs to be shoveled. ;) Your photos are wonderful.
