I see music

There’s a little down time between jobs this morning so I took a walk through the woods.
That’s where I found these backlit weeds. If you looked through the years of slide pages that fill my file cabinet, you’ll find a similar photo. I sure there’s more than one. I love the way they look backlit. Today’s group reminds me of musical notes. I made a few different exposures with a wide-open aperture to keep the focus shallow.
The forest, or in my case here on Long Island, the woods, are a muse in many art forms. It’s an intriguing place to explore, full of surprises both good and bad. It can be relaxing when you need to get away from civilization or stressful when you wonder too far off a know path.
