Maple Leaf Leftovers

I went through my files tonight and found these Maple leaf photos that I never posted. Being the last day in November, I saw it was fit to post them now. They were all made the on November 2, the day I purchased the Canon 100-400 4.5/5.6L lens. They were all made with that lens also.
Sunday, I had the second opportunity to use this new lens in a sports setting. This was why I purchased the lens, to get more sports jobs. The lens works great, but I need more time behind the camera on the field with this baby.
The bottom image is my favorite.

November usually seems to drag on but it went by quickly for me this year. Lovely golden leaves.. such a warming effect.

They are LOVELY. We didn't have a true Autumn (or maybe I was just too busy to notice), so I enjoyed your Maple leaves, thank you! :-)

Steve- you made me homesick (grew up in Virginia) for the fall leaves. Down south here you may get a palm frond that turns brown (from lack of water).
I so enjoy coming over here to your "home"..

Beautiful, as leftovers frequently are.

Nice little series with the shadows and light. I like the last one also with the dof.

These are all lovely, the way you capture the light on them.
